LACROSSE 5-0!
After graduating from Penn State University in 1998 as a 4x All-American and one of the top attackers in the country, Michele "DJ" DeJuliis, became a Baltimore city cop. Within 1 year she was promoted to the SWAT team, becoming a “cop that the cops called for help.” In her 5 total years with the police force, she worked undercover narcotics, was on the DEA joint task force and was selected to the Executive detail for the Commissioner. Lacrosse remained her passion throughout, leading her to create the Ultimate Lacrosse Club, based in Philadelphia. She has recently expanded that business into New Jersey.
She left police enforcement for Princeton University where she is a current Assistant Coach. Since then, she has been on the 2005 World Cup Training Team, been inducted in the Baltimore Lacrosse Hall of Fame and traveled to Prague twice with the US Lacrosse Team. In 2009, she was on the Prague Tour Team and went back again a year later as the Captain of the 2009 U.S. World Cup Team. She ended her career with a gold medal finish as Captain of that 2009 World Cup Team, retiring after a 16-year career as a Team USA player. She is now one of the Assistant Coaches for the 2010 U.S. National Women's Lacrosse Team.
